I'm wondering if anyone has any information about George Mason University RAK. They were supposed to be opening a foundations program this year, and at least one person had posted on this board about planning to work for them....but there's been nothing about the actual place itself.
Did they in fact open as planned? Or has the opening been deferred? Any info appreciated...thanks. |

Never heard of them: probably another dream that didn't quite come true. |

No YG, they are very real and I have corresponded with a number of people who interviewed with them - and some got offers. They have taken over the original HCT Men's college building in RAK.
The question is have they managed to get that first year off the ground yet or not...
This is affiliated with George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia... which is where I started my MA program until I got a Fellowship to get it free elsewhere.

Oh dear, I must get this cynicism under control. Thanks for the clarification. |

Yes, they do exist!
They were looking for teachers in August and I believe found a few. No idea what the situation is there now, though.
