I've been trying to research Trinity TESOL courses in LA, but it has been somewhat difficult. Trinity really seems to be lagging when it comes to internet awareness. Most listing for schools carry only an email address, if that.

According to the Trinity website, TESOL providers in LA are:

The Dickens (<-D i c k e n s - god bless America! Smile ) Institute in Uruguay has a website, but it's not terribly informative. Apparently the course is offered as part-time (9 hours a week over 2 years) or full-time (20 hours a week over 1 year). Even if they are referring to academic years of 26 weeks, that's still 468 hours part-time or 520 hours full-time. That's just plain weird.

Does anyone know anything about the other schools? Searching hasn't turned up anything useful so far.

Are you talking about www.d-ickens.edu.uy/pantalla_inicio.htm? Its not affiliated withhttp://www.beepintl.com/About/!!!! There really is a Beep Institute in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and a subsidiary, Beep International Mult-Lingual Institute that is looking to hire ESL teachers! Shocked

There's a place in Mexico City that works with the Trinity exams and possibly the cert. It's called ELT SERVICES, they used to send me emails anouncing events, so I think they probably have a web page.
