I think your school should take you! If they don't, I'm wracking my brains for the name of the street (something like Heli Lu?) but can't come up with it. The tricky thing about going to that hospital is that it is in the same location as it was before, but the name of the street it was on (used to start with W?) has changed, so the taxi driver might know it by its old name.
If you can't find out from your waiban by Monday, I'll try to remember to ask mine for more info.
The hosp. is a pretty nice place, clean and everything, as I remember it. |

Could it be YunLing Lu?
I seem to think that may be the name. If it is I am wondering what the intersecting road may be.
I may be leaving Shanghai and want to be sure to have ALL records of everything including my medical. Just in case.
Also, do you know the name of the hospital?
Thanks. |

I had to chuckle at this, because nowhere else in the world is a city changing so fast that the maps can't keep up with street name changes.
I did my medical at that location last year, and could see the construction crews ripping up the road ... it was a classic case of 'lu bian kuan le', i.e. a narrow road becomes wider.
Happens all over town.

Is it also another coincidence that its abbreviation is SITH? It may be staffed by beings who wear black helmets and breathe very, VERY deeply! Oh, (Sith) Lord! |

The address is #15 Jinbang Rd. (#1701 Hami Rd), Shanghai. That's exactly how it's written on my health certificate. Hami Lu is the old street name, and Jinbang Lu is the new street name.
