|
|
Hi everyone,
I got an offer from a school (PNET) at the start of August, with a view to starting at the beginning of September. This has been delayed until 'approval of visa by Hong Kong government' (ie I'm still at home)- So the question is how long am I expected to wait? How long did you guys who are already in school have to wait for your visa? The paperwork was submitted 2 weeks ago.
Any help on this would be much appreciated
Thanks,
P |

hey pieface, i have residency so haven't had to get a visa as a PNET but my friend has already started working even though he has been waiting 3 weeks for his visa already.
ask your school if you can start now. if you don't get your visa by payday they'll just pay you in arrears.
also you can come to HK visa-free if oyu're from the UK/Canada/US for 3 months. so why not head over and settle down and visit your school? |
