I've got my own little eikaiwa school 3 days a week teaching kids and adults. For kid's classes, I use Japanese female assistants, a different one on each day (just happened that way). They are all busy people who are doing it either because they like kids or just want to help me. I pay them, of course, but, because it isn't their primary concern, cancellations are not infrequent.

There is a question here. It's this. Does anyone know how I might go about finding a motivated assitant? I was thinking about university students studying English or education who might be motivated not just by a little extra money, but perhaps also by a good reccomendation or a resume item.

I know that some of the members here are university instructors or professors. I'd appreciate hearing from those people.

Thanks.
