Actually, Air Asia don't fly from Hong Kong at all, but from Macau - so you would have to make your way there first - there are direct tranfers from the jetfoil terminal in macau, meaning you won't have to clear both sets of customs. But you will need somebody else to book the ticket on a credit card as it is online bookings only.
Alternatively, from HK you can fly Cathay Pacific, Thai, Thai Orient Express, Emirates, Gulf Air, Air India, Sri Lankan Airlines, Kenya Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, China Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Dragonair and Finnair to Bangkok directly - prices for return flights (only) start at around 2000HK. (As you can see I do this journey a lot!)
Check out www.air-hongkong.com - it will source you the cheapest flights available for the dates you specify and give you a list of travel agencies that can sell them.
Have a good trip. |
