Hey,
Would you happen to have a list of email addresses or names of schools hiring teachers in Kunming?
I'm looking to stay in Kunming for no more than a month (and I'd like to supplement my income while travelling in Yunnan). I also wish to teach ENglish in Xishuangbanna and Dali (if I can).
Thanks
p.s.
I'm an experienced teacher and have good cred. |

R.C.,
If you had good credentials for it, you could apply for a job as a lawyer, for a month. It would pay better, and you wouldn't have to interrupt your travels with work, so often.
Or, you could propose marriage to someone in Kunming who would welcome a month of your undivided time and attention. (Whether you actually married could wait a month, it seems to me.)
There must be other possibilities, as well. Maybe somebody with more imagination will be able to be of more help. |

Recommended one-month jobs.. sounds like something you'll have to look for when you get there.
I spent a few weeks in Kunming a few weeks ago.. loved it.
I stayed in Camelia Hostel.. and was offered an opportunity to be an extra in a chinese movie being filmed in the area. I got to play a catholic preist! Pretty fun. (That was lucky though).
Also my hostel roommate was an American guy who just rolled into town and answered an english-teaching job notice in the hostel.. he was working immediately. |
