What do you think about Dave�s new photo? He definately looks cool but I miss his old black and white jumper. What do you think?

How long have you been checking out this site? A few weeks ago you would have seen in a lovely black and white jumper and with a boy next-door haircut, in his new one he�s all Armani and he looks a little bit like a jazz musician. Must be going up in the world!

This has to be one of the silliest , most insipid threads to ever hit this board.Maybe you can form a Dave's fan club...call it something like Dave's Angels or something.You can be Dave's groupies and follow him around...wherever.Poor Dave...pursued by a bunch of panting TESOL females.The mind boggles. maybe you can serenade him with jazz chants or something.

Besides,maybe that is not even Dave's real photo.Maybe it is a ringer.

However,I do like Capergirl's avatar.It is even better than Zakiah's avatar.

As dudette(DUDETTE? How original! ) stated,nobody forced me to read the thread.However, it is obvious that I did not know it was a silly and insipid thread until AFTER I read it.I am not one of the lucky few gifted with paranormal powers.(AH! YES! SKIP THAT THREAD! IT IS SILLY AND INSIPID! I CAN TELL THAT WITHOUT EVEN READING IT! ).

My apologies to Shonai(and possibly Daffy?) for including them in the coterie of panting TESOL females mentioned in my previous post.

Back In 1994 Dave was cryogenically frozen. Hence we saw the same Dave photo for many years and this is why, as Shonai Ben pointed out, he looks a little tired in the current photo.

His reawakening was expected to occur sometime around 2175, when English is expected to be a dead language that nobody in the world speaks except Canadians and Americans (who have never really had a handle on the language anyway) and a handful of boring anthropologists.

Due to soaring popularity, mostly from panting TESOL females who spend all their time on the net, Dave has come out early. He also needed to stretch his back and pay his credit card again. However he loves the attention and the photo change is a signal to his most devout followers to meet him at "the bar" for a drink after seven next Thursday.

Dudette,you have a point there.To tell you the truth,I just switched on this thread because there has not been much doing on this board lately.Now ,the KOREAN forum...that is where the action is...what flamethrowers over there!

Incidentally,speaking of paranormal powers,I have a student(adult) who claims she can read my mind.Is it ethical for me to lead her on in this,or should I discourage her? Apparently,she has fallen under the sway of some kind of pseudo-religious charlatan.Nice woman,otherwise.

However,I do think your cute blonde avatar is much more attractive than Dave's mug shot, if that is really Dave.Also, I think your avatar is much more attractive and tasteful than a lot of the other avatars(Jabba the Hut, houseflies,Lord knows what else).As to my "absurd",statement, I reserve the right to be absurd sometimes,like everyone else on this board.It helps not to take things too seriously.If I was in the mood for serious flamethrowing, I could head over to the Korean forum,where they take their posts and threats seriously.
