Has anyone tried one of those temporary monthly housing services? Like the Stay in Buenos Aires Website that is posted on the EBC website? Are these quality accomodations? I admit probably expensive at 500Usd for argentina. But I want to be settled when I start EBC and don't want to end up in a death trap for a month.

Hi!

There are threads on where to stay for short term housing or just for the duration of the course. If they still have this Argentinian lady (Maria) advertised on their site, contact her, she knows a lot of host families, or maybe hostels, or cheaper places for the course. I did ask her to find me a place to stay, I was with a host family for the course, they all spoke great English, which didn't do me any good , after all I want to learn Spanish! It was good for the 1 month course though.
