Hi,
In the information package from the EMB, there are several application forms. Am I suppose to fill out the application forms and send it to Hong Kong prior to my arroval? As well, am I suppose to sign the contract prior to my departure? Since the phone interview I've not directly heard from the schools. I've spoke to some people at the EMB but never got clear answers from them.
Your help is appreciated.

Usually, your contract comes from your school, not from the EMB.
If you have already received a contract, it should include the name of your school. You should sign your contract and send it back as soon as you receive it. Keep a copy for yourself. After you have a signed contract, you then send you visa application forms and attachments to your school and they take it to the immigration dept. When the visa is granted, it will be mailed to you. It is an entry/employment visa that is activated when you set foot on HK soil.
What are the forms you have received? If I know what they are I can give more specific help.
I recommend you sign up for the e-group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hkpnets/ where pnets will be happy to answer your questions.
Good luck! Munasa |
