Hi all,

Currently in Thailand preparing to move to BsAs in the New Year. I desperately need to improve my Spanish....any good websites I can visit to brush up my reading? Articles on news / entertainment / culture / anything...

What are your favourites?

thanks
Gary

This one is absolutely wonderful

http://www.colby.edu/~bknelson/exercises/

I used it a lot to help prepare me for tests. It is grammar oriented, however.

My homepage for internet explorer is actually BBC in Spanish. That helped a lot. If you dont understand the article, you can probably find it in your respective language on BBC. It is a wonderful resource.

Suerte!

Thanks Sqwerl, very useful.

Also, I just got a couple of Argentine DVD movies from my local pirate guy here in Bangkok. Hopefully these will help my listening comprehension, which currently sucks.

i used www.clarin.com a lot before i came. it's one of the biggest newspapers here and you don't need a subscription to get the online stuff. the articles are current and will help you to know what's going on here. they're usually pretty short, so hopefully your head won't spin from the spanish (if you can rent argentine movies, you can handle the articles). it also has a really helpful classifieds section which i used to fill in my teaching schedule a bit.

suerte!

Hi, I used http://www.worldwidelearn.com/language-courses/learn-spanish.htm

to find other good links.

I think it is useful as well as reading local papers and communicating within a Spanish speaking environment.
