Well- I have finally purchased my ticket to Spain and I will be attending the EBC school in March. I am very excited and I am positive that I will have a lot of questions. even though I confess to being a lurker on this site and have already gotten tons of useful info on everything that I need to know so far! So thank you to everybody for that!!
But my present question is a litle bit off-topic.
My mother is planning to fly over with me on the 8th of March and we are going to travel to Paris for a few days and then back to Madrid. Then I would love to take her to Southern Spain for a few days. I was there a few years ago and I completley fell in love with Sevilla and I would like to take her to see the Alhambra. So here is my question:
I think that is is about 2 and 1/2 hours by train form Madrid to Sevilla, but for some reason, i can't find any info on how to get to Granada from Madrid.
So if any of you could let me know how long it takes , I would apprecicate any advice!
_thank you

For train information, try the RENFE web site.
If my memory serves me well, you have to change trains at Cordoba.

Getting to Granada will take much longer than getting to Sevilla because there is no Talgo train there. You might have to allow twice as long (i.e. over 5 hours) if you have to take a normal intercity service. I'd allow 5-7 hours, realistically, especially if you need to change.
