Well- I have finally purchased my ticket to Spain and I will be attending the EBC school in March. I am very excited and I am positive that I will have a lot of questions. even though I confess to being a lurker on this site and have already gotten tons of useful info on everything that I need to know so far! So thank you to everybody for that!!
But my present question is a litle bit off-topic.
My mother is planning to fly over with me on the 8th of March and we are going to travel to Paris for a few days and then back to Madrid. Then I would love to take her to Southern Spain for a few days. I was there a few years ago and I completley fell in love with Sevilla and I would like to take her to see the Alhambra. So here is my question:
I think that is is about 2 and 1/2 hours by train form Madrid to Sevilla, but for some reason, i can't find any info on how to get to Granada from Madrid.
So if any of you could let me know how long it takes , I would apprecicate any advice!
_thank you |

For train information, try the RENFE web site.
If my memory serves me well, you have to change trains at Cordoba. |

| Getting to Granada will take much longer than getting to Sevilla because there is no Talgo train there. You might have to allow twice as long (i.e. over 5 hours) if you have to take a normal intercity service. I'd allow 5-7 hours, realistically, especially if you need to change. |
