|

Hi there
I have been teaching English in Germany for 5 months now and I am one of the people who isnt too happy with the pay and the regularity of the job. Like most of the freelancers I get no benefits and never know what kind of salary Ill get at the end of the month. Another teacher I know suggested I try working for a governmant school as they apparently pay decently and Im sure will include health benefits etc. Has anyone out there tried it, or got any advice for me?
Thanks,

You have to pass the "Staatsexamen" BUT there are now supposed to be EU equivalences, so there is a British and Irish and Spanish equivalent.
You will also have to do a probationary period "Referendarzeit".
Very complicated I am sure. |
