This story broke a couple of months ago and it was well investigated in The Moscow Times and other places.
The reporters stayed in the Madison Hotel, went to expat night clubs, New Russian sports clubs and shopped around Arbat and in the European Supermarkets.
Moscow is expensive if you live like that.
The rest of us live normally and quite cheaply. |
