I want to send some baggage back to Australia to avoid paying the high costs associated with excess baggage costs that the airline will charge when I return to Brisbane for the holidays. Does anyone know of a company in Beijing who does this? Thanks

Mavazah, not that I am unhelpful or anything, but you have obviously mixed up the "OFF TOPIC" forum with "JOB RELATED POSTS ONLY", haven't you?

Sorry, I can't help with that one though. I am not Australian.

Cheers and beers

Don't worry about it. The "Being gay in China" thread runs for 9 pages.

PS I used China Post to sent small shipments back to OZ, then CYTS Cargo International for a household shipment. Their Shanghai phone is 02164711440, but they are undoubtedly in BJ as well. Highly recommended.

I wouldn't overlook the excess baggage on the airline. It cost only $50 to bring a 3rd bag of 50 pounds on a Continental flight from Beijing to West Palm Beach Florida (USA) via Newark.

That's certainly affordable and the quickest way I could think of to get my extra stuff home.
