Hey everyone.
I'm wondering, there is supposed to be a service online to apply for a family visit visa, through the ministry of foreign affairs in saudi arabia. I heard the process is really fast, since its done via the internet. Does anybody know the exact website and link, and also the process of such a visa????
Please help. THanks |

| I think the process has to be initiated by the SPONSOR not the employee. |

Hi,
I haven't heard anything about a family visit visa being issued from the Internet but who knows.
I'm currently on a visit visa and the way that it was done was that my uncle applied for it. The visa after being approved in Saudi Arabia was then sent to the embassy in my home country and then I filled in the relevant paperwork and photographs and sent it upto them. They approved it and then sent it back.
So the first step is whoever you are visiting needs to apply for it and get it approved.
Hope that helps. |

| How long did the process take in order to get the visiter's visa? (first approval in Saudia and then the embassy in your home country? |

Hi,
My process was very quick but I don't know how long it normally takes.
My uncle is a diplomat so he has connections and it didn't take long to get it done. This country does run on connections However, I would guess it shouldn't take too long. But I can't guarantee anything in this country.
As for my home country (Australia), it only took 2 days. One day to send it there (via express) and they sent it back the next day. I believe the usual time is around a week. But my dad knows the guy in charge of the embassy so they hurried it up a bit.
I believe each embassy would differ but generally the embassies in the West seem to be OK as far as I know with processing things quickly.
The main thing is to make sure you have everything they want included when you send in your application.
Hope that helps. |
