Anyone know anything (good or bad) about The International TEFL Corporation? They offer TEFL certification classes all over the place or online. They seem legit, but I've heard too many horror stories. The Web site is http://www.teflcorp.com/index.htm.
Sub question: Will going to LA with a BA (journalism) and an online TEFL certificate be enough to get a job? I'm not looking to make tons of money, just enough to live, and I'm willing to sign a one-year contract. Is there something important I'm leaving out?
