I'm just wondering as a foreigner here, would it be difficult to get an internet service hooked up to my computer?

Or do I have to be Turkish, eg. when getting Digiturk.

Also, how much is the service, eg. what kind of package can I expect.

What kind of cost can I expect.

Regards,

				| i have ADSL at home. It is much better than dial-up, which I had for a while. You just need your passport and you go to the Turk Telekom office (I went to the one in Karakoy-- don't know where you are). I also have an ikamet, so I showed that too. They charge for setting up, which I think was 49 or 59TL and then 49Tl/month. The monthly charge is for 24/7 access. I have an old laptop, so I had to buy a modem, too. Hope this is helpful. |

				Yes,

I spoke to a comuter programmer today...getting past the comp. jargan...which I loosely understood..

The 29 L/month package is better, becz it suits all ur needs.

The 49 L option is better if u are doing major downloads from the internet.
