Hi,
I will be finishing a CELTA course in April next year, and would really like to go and work in Vietnam. From what I can gather it's near enough impossible to get a job lined up before you go.
What are the chances of being able to get enough hours to live on (US$1000 month?) within a month or so of arriving? I am 28yrs old female, UK national and have a degree but no teaching experience.
Also, is it easy to get set up with accomodation etc.?
I would be interested in hearing about the experiences of anyone else who has gone to Vietnam with no or limited teaching experience. I would much rather go to one of these countries than China, Japan etc., but am just nervous about turning up with no employment/accomodation lined up.
Anyone got any advice? Thanks, Katherine  |

www.saigonesl.com has pretty much infomation about living and teaching, in Ho Chi Minh City.
www.livinginvietnam.com is a good one to, it has just been upgraded, but the whole forum is destroyed. |
