				| I hope the whole thing is a tempest in a teapot. I've been eating chicken like a madman. Plus I have had the flu. Guess I better stop-- I don't need a pandemic on my conscience. I don't think there are any support groups for something like that. |

Doesn't matter. You have to be in contact with live infected birds. Of course if it mutates.... |

I'm not sure the pandemic is acidental, I suspect fowl play. |

				| I know the price of chicken has gone down, but my concern is how high the price of turkey will be around Christmas time. last year I paid 40TL for a big one-- I hope it will be cheaper this year. Or should that be cheeper? as we gobble our turkey... |

				| How does a madman eat chicken? There's really no set pattern. Generally, he just wings it. |

I always thought flu was what birds did naturally anyway. Boom boom.

I'll be getting my coat then.

Spare a thought for poor old Mudurnu, CP Pili, Erpili, Şekerpili and Fatpili, their flocks and employees.

Poised on full-scale pandemic pandemonium or not, it's lovely to be back in Istanbul. Especially in this pastrami summer weather. |
