But I would venture to guess not... Soccer is pretty popular around here. I live in a city of 200,000 (blink and you'll miss it by Japanese standards) but they have a Division 2 team, and the local gai-jin have an actual organized team... It's grown to the point of including locals and ex-pats alike....

As for the details.... Eg. cost, schedule.. Can't say... However since it IS made up of many English teachers that normally work 1-9, I would venture to guess it will likely be OK...

Since I got to Japan I've met a regular Commonwealth representation... Including: all of UK, Aus, NZ, all of which are soccer-playing countries, as well as a bunch from CAN... You're bound to find at least several ex-pats that can hook you up with a team to play on.

So if you're a player.... Consider bringing your gear or having it sent to you...
