Hi

Does anybody know if a modem from the UK, an ADSL modem bought from, say Dixons, will work here in the Kingdom?

I remember having problems the other way round. I bought a fax machine in Kuwait, and not only could I not get it to work in England, I couldn't get anybody to tell me whether is should work or not. Took it to Spain and it worked fine.

If you've already got the modem, bring it over and see if it works. If not get the one that your ISP or STC recommends. They are not the easiest of things to set up, and if you use the official onw they won't be able to brush you off with an excuse if it doesn't work.
