I hope the whole thing is a tempest in a teapot. I've been eating chicken like a madman. Plus I have had the flu. Guess I better stop-- I don't need a pandemic on my conscience. I don't think there are any support groups for something like that.

Doesn't matter. You have to be in contact with live infected birds. Of course if it mutates....

I'm not sure the pandemic is acidental, I suspect fowl play.

I know the price of chicken has gone down, but my concern is how high the price of turkey will be around Christmas time. last year I paid 40TL for a big one-- I hope it will be cheaper this year. Or should that be cheeper? as we gobble our turkey...

How does a madman eat chicken? There's really no set pattern. Generally, he just wings it.

I always thought flu was what birds did naturally anyway. Boom boom.

I'll be getting my coat then.

Spare a thought for poor old Mudurnu, CP Pili, Erpili, Şekerpili and Fatpili, their flocks and employees.

Poised on full-scale pandemic pandemonium or not, it's lovely to be back in Istanbul. Especially in this pastrami summer weather. Smile
