| Just considering a job offer in Muscat. Can anyone give me an idea as to cost of living there compared to Bangkok which is where I live now. Thanks |

I doubt that you will find very many people that have lived in both places. When I visited Thailand from the Gulf I found it very cheap. But, I suspect that paychecks there are signficantly smaller than in Oman.
It depends on your job and lifestyle... in both places... and probably not easily comparable.
