You are going to have to be more specific.As a VERY general rule,do not expect to make much money anywhere in South America. Probably between $300 and $600 monthly.But that is a very,very rough estimate.You have to narrow it down to countries and types of schools before anyone can give you more specific information. |

I'm looking at Costa Rica, Panama for my first choices and Peru, Chile, Ecuador, and Argentina as later options |

It is not a good place to go and teach now, due to political unstability.The same goes for Venezuela.
Costa Rica?Check the Job Journal Section.Dave has also provided a link for people interested in Costa Rica.You might not find more than part time work there,and poorly paid.I do not know about Panama...but probably not much money there,either.
There is just not much money to be made teaching in South America.If you really want to go anyway, Ecuador might be a good option,although not much money there,either. |
