Booked our flights today to Europe at Christmas. Was stung by the amount of taxes whacked onto tickets these days (was quoted 71000 for each ticket on Wednesday and was charged 112000 today when the surcharges were added in- nearly fell off the stool!)
We are flying with Austrian Airways via China (because they don't do direct to Europe out of Kansai in December) and apparently we might need a double visa for China now as well (i.e. one for the flight to Europe and one for the flight back to Japan), even though we are just transferring there to another flight and won't be leaving the airport. Is that normal? |
