I'm sorry if this question is redundant, but I haven't seen it lately so I'll go ahead. What are some good airlines for flights within Argentina? Aerolineas seems pricey. I hope they're not all like that.

It's cheaper to buy them once you get there... ahead of time is more expensive.... usually twice as expensive if you buy from the US.

Taking the bus is much more common than flying around the country. Buses are cheap and really nice... sometimes just as nice as the plane.

www.lan.com
http://www.fly-sw.com/es/home.jsp

lan's the best and return flights are sometimes only a few dollars more than a round trip on the bus-i flew return to mendoza for $250 pesos and a return bus ticket would have been 150-180 pesos. US$30 extra to avoid a 28 hour round trip...

Thanks for the tip, Matt. I was getting a bit worried about the 2000+ peso flights I was finding on Aerolineas!
I have taken the buses down here, and while they are comfortable and nice, they are slow and I want to see too many places in too little time to rely soley on them.
