I received this in my email box and I am curious to know if there is anything to this or if it is some kind of scam.
http://www.concordia-college.net/pages/316951/index.htm
Does anyone out there know about this place and if so what are they about?
I would appreciate any input.
Thanks

Not sure what you are asking and I only glanced at the link for a minute but I can say Concordia U in Montreal is a first rate joint. |

I don't think this is connected to Concordia U in Montreal--at least I hope not. This Concordia College & University is a "nontraditional institution" that awards degrees on the basis of one's life experience and resume. Of course, there's also the little matter of the fee (bachelor's $599, master's $699, doctorate $1099--an extra $400 if you want the degree apostilled).
I've heard of this place before but don't know anyone who has actually done it. Maybe a post on the Teacher Training Forum would yield some interesting replies.
Personally, I'd be leery of any "school" that tries to gain students via unsolicited emails. But maybe I'm just jealous because my degree cost so much more and involved actual studying. |

Thanks
I was a little confused because I know that there is a "real" Concordia University.
Cheers |

One line that jumped out at me...

Dunno about you, looks dodgy to me.
