Greetings,

I am arriving at Santa Maria Airport, San Jose on the evening of the 31st October. I am planning to stay in Alajuela for my first night or so as it is close to the airport. From here I will set about trying to find a job. If no jobs are forthcoming, I will enrol in a Spanish courseand then try and hit the January employment market. I am from the UK, have a masters in Chemistry and am CELTA certified.

I have gleaned as much information as possible from the relevant pages, but does anyone have any advice?

-Best schools to apply to? Could I target science faculties at universities?
-Where to live?
-What are the best sources of information?
-Are there opportunities in Panama or Nicaragua?

Possibly banal questions with seemingly obvious answers but replies would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
