I am keen to find out as much as I can about the application process for the NET scheme. I understand one or two interviews are involved, and some sort of test. Can anyone tell me what is the focus of the interviews - your knowledge of English teaching or is it more about the applicant as a person? Any information on the nature of the test? |

Interviews seem to focus on teaching reading(primary NETs), getting on with local colleagues, ability to deliver professional development, teaching poetry or choral speaking, teaching in general.
Written 'test': You are asked to plan a lesson/english activity day/etc. Very practical in focus. |
