Hello. I've been offered a possition with Bernard English House in Kitami, Hokkaido. I was wondering if anyone knew about this school or area.
cheers,

Kinda makes you wish you never asked. Ignorance is bliss. |

Hey thanks for your comment. I took the possition and will be heading out next month.
I'm from upstate NY so, I'm familiar with cold winters. Think I may have to get back into skying to make it more bearable. Hopefully I'll be able to take it. I don't need a crazy night life but I do enjoy going out for pints here and there. |

Hope you have some sort of real heating. Maybe in Hokkaido it's standard but in other parts of northern Japan it's possible to have only kerosene heaters and you can't keep them on all night. Walls can be thinner too. Hence those warm baths at night. You do get used to it though. Worst was coming out of the morning shower or bath depending on the heat situation. |
