Is it worth sending a resume to potential employers before I even get certified? I'd put on there that I'm planning on having my cert. at X date, but would they just chunk it? |

Certainly not! Unless the date you plan to take a course is too distant in the future.
There's a certain timing needed in sending out resumes. The person who does the hiring often has to suddenly fill a gap in the staff, so, the first few resumes on top get the look. It would be nice to think that all HR work is nicely planned, every resume gets looked at, and hiring is smoothly organized. Reality is different.
My advice is don't send them out too far in advance. Anything more than 2 or 3 months out and your resume slowly falls to the bottom. Best thing you can do is stay in touch by email...not annoyingly in touch every day, but every few weeks, send a reminder email. |

Funny, but you can use cabron in about the same way. Usually cabron is bad.
Examples...
Used negatively - What an obnoxious person you are! Que cabron!
Used positively - Wow, you are really good at math! Que cabron eres para las matematicas. |

What is the play.info site? I will be in Playa del Carmen taking the CELTA course January 9-Feb. 3. Would love to hear from anyone planning to be there at the same time. |

It's a site all about the good places to eat, things to do during the day and night, and good places to stay in playa del carmen. Check out the forum. They are a friendly bunch and you'll learn a lot about the area. |
