Hi,

This is in reference to le Centre Educatif - located in the Laurentides, near Montreal,
also called Maison Emmanuel.
I will sum up my experience - anybody who plans to work there: please contact me before you go. Better: don't go.

This is a nightmare.

The location is not the the problem - the school (le Centre) is located in the mountains (hills) and in the woods.
Beyond that: it is a complete mess.
The management is inexistent. We are supposed to take care of handicapped children and there is absolutely no support, no direction.
In many cases, the situation is borderline - to be reported to the education board and social services.

Most staff is un-qualified (a German group makes 80% of it); kids who are in Quebec for fun.
To say we are under-paid ... is an understatement. Please contact me for more details.
They advertise on numerous websites and via many channels.
Just don't go!
