I'm sure all the major hotels will have Christmas dinner deals - won't be cheap BUT I'm sure it'll help with those homesick festive season blues.
You're not going away anywhere for Christmas? Personally I prefer to distance myself from Christmas while overseas. I usually head to somewhere quiet, put my head in the sand (not literally) and wait til it's over.
May I suggest Padangbai, Bali. Great place to hide |

Go to Bali. You'll love it. Don't listen to all the paranoid crap from certain embassies. |

I remember last year KIS FM was constantly advertising christmas dinners at whatever place it was. I flew back on christmas day though so I got my turkey on the plane. Was very tasty! |

Got a gut feelin about Bali at chrissy huh? Go the gut!
Follow this up as an alternative. About 4-5 clicks out of Pelabuhan Ratu on the south coast (3-4 hours from Jakarta) there's a place called Any's taverne.
Throughout the year they do great things with western style food and I'm thinking that even the Germans (proprieter Dieter- Any's husband) deviate from sausage and schnitzel for xmas.
Hey you've got me thinking. Roast pork man!!
They've got rooms above the tav and it's opposite a beach.
Bang in Any's taverne on your search engine and just maybe.... bon apetit.
Ho. Ho. Ho. |

Any's!!
I really liked that place. Expensive by Indo standards, but it was like a taste of home. |

HA! Your joint comments brought back vivid memories of a few years ago, when Christmas day fell right in the middle of puasa.
I was in Pangandarang, and all eating places were closed except a few warungs, and these were closed in with canvas so that those eating could not be seen. Inside it was like a furnace!
My Christmas dinner that day consisted of a rather poorly prepared nasi goreng (aka nasi boring). Something else to add to the memory bank!
If I had a choice, I'd head straight for Bali, where you can be assured of a good range of roasts, including babi! |

Any's Tavern - If you like overpriced food & drink served to you by a fat obnoxious drunk German then you'll love Christmas there
3-4 hours from Jakarta? Did you hitch a ride on a missile?
Merry Christmas wherever you end up |

lashings of beer (mate..mate..) and wine (tewibbly excellent)
then desert, TRIFEL, flavoured with bacardi rum!!! aye me hearties, the desert is fit for a cap'n with salt in his bones..arrrrrrrrrrrrrr
