No matter where they come from, it seems as though ESLers share some similar characteristics... slightly adventurous, inquisitive, fun seekers.

Jeez, travelinhobo! It might have been a little more diplomatic to PM that message. Confused Please understand, tonydicer, that its not purely anti-US sentiment, but many of us have had experience with what Mark Twain once said: "patriotism is the last refuge of scoundrels."
It's also not very good strategy to complain, and ask other people to complain, about how much complaining and whining goes on.

Well, it might even be a whine if I was one o' dose "ESLers." Fortunately, us TESLers and TEFLers never whine or complain. That is probably our best quality excepting our outstanding humbleness and understated humilty! Cool

Maybe for you, my best quality is undoubtedly my incredible modesty, which is exceedingly difficult to maintain considering how brilliant I am. Laughing

We modest Canuck TESOLers never complain or whine either. We are too busy enjoying the perpetual sunshine! (I think I have forgotten how to open an umbrella - is it like riding a bicycle??)
