I was wondering if I need a company to extend my current Z visa, or if I can do it myself since I already have it.
Thanks in advance. |

I am pretty sure you need a school or place of work with the proper status to hire foreigners to extend your current Z visa, seeing how it is a "work" visa. If you could extend it yourself, it would defeat the purpose of the visa and who knows if you were actually working, paying taxes, who you are working for, etc...

In order to extend your RPF, which I believe is what you were referring to when you said "Z visa", you must first have your FEC extended. |

Pardon me for being of so limited help, but considering the novelty of the situation I am left to guessing in the matter.
My guess is that if you have a legal pad to stay (registered abode where you live) or a hotel ()hotel registration slip handed over to the PSB), you can apply direct to the PSB for a TOURIST visa (if you are on a visa, youget an extension, and in this case I wouldn't have to guess - this is a fact). |

Tht is helpful. I have an apartment lease but no longer work for my employer. So I will look into this.
Thanks again! |
