Just wondering how life as a teacher and/or freelance cultural worker in E. Europe and Taiwan or elsewhere in Asia stacks up. Also, the social environment, friendliness of the locals and expats,etc. Obviously the money in asia tends to be much better, but there are trade-offs.I got some bad advice from a poster on this site before i went to vietnam, so i am particularly about leaping before getting plenty of feedback.
I am told that Kiev, Sofia, Belgrade or perhaps some smaller towns in those regions offer some opportunities (I'm a graphic artist/writer/teacher)
