Hi all, I'm planning to come to Costa Rica early next year and am looking to find work teaching adults at a private language school or business training institute. I've heard that Jan and Feb are when a lot of classes start. But how much does timing matter when it comes to finding work? I was originally planning to arrive in February, but feel I might need to push that back. I'm wondering though, will I be putting myself at a disadvantage by arriving in March or April instead?
Thanks! |

March or April will be a little more difficult, particularly if you are arrvie shortly before Easter. But, you never know....some teachers may decide to leave at Easter leaving the door open for you if you arrive and make yourself known just before. |
