Folks, here is a reference letter to put all others to shame. Two, actually. They were sent directly to me and also to another ESL teachers' board for posting.

The first is (supposedly) from a lovely lady named Liu Yan Mei living in London, whose husband works for the Chinese Government Commercial Consulate (who have never heard of her or her husband). The second is from some guy who says he's teaching in Jinan. The two emails have forged IP addresses, belonging to APNIC and the RIPE Network Coordination Centre in Amsterdam, and then bounced off one of Google's IP addresses just for fun.


Anyway, you and I will not likely ever see such glowing reference letters about us, even if we write them ourselves as "Dr." Yakup has done. Enjoy.

Who is Yakup?

My Chinese name is Liu Yan Mei. Now I have been working/living in London since May 2003 due to diplomatic assignment/term of my husband at Chinese Commercial Consulate in the United Kingdom. Before I came here I had worked for Beijing Yakup International Company for over 4 years.

Just recently I received a message from Yakup who asked me to post my own past experience with him and his company on the internet in response to those of the vicious rumors and blunt slanders on the internet about Yakup and his company, posted by some of the dishonest and dirty people who were the former employers (foreign employers) of Yakup and later dismissed from the company because of their dishonest and deceitful practice.

I read again and again those the wicked rumors spread by those of the dirty people on ESL teachers board and other sites, and got very angry about their utter lies about Yakup's company.

Possibly, there is no one in this world who could understand Yakup better than I do. So today I post this message on the internet and tell all the people everything I know about Yakup. He is one of the most impressive and special man I have ever met in my life. He was my boss in the past, but the most respected and loved friend of my whole family forever, including my parents, husband, brother and even my doughtier.

He is always very highly admired and respected by all his friends and as well as his political and business associates (including many government officials in various Ministries) in Beijing and other parts of China because of his knowledge, excellent educational background and top moral quality. He is one of extremely sincere, honest, honorable, responsible, serious, warm hearted, friendly and the most hard working person in the world.

He always have a strong hatred towards to the following seven kinds of people.

1- Those who are dishonest, deceitful, dishonorable, and steals from others
2- Those who wastes any resource, especially food and water.
3- Those who are lazy and spend their life in an idle way
4- Those who backbites, plots other and live in a double face manner
5- Those who are unfaithful to their partners/spouse, especially those people with concubines.
6- Those who are not financially responsible for and don't care for their parents and other relatives
7- Those who discriminate other color, disabled and poor.

The most impressive aspect, quality and way of living of Yakup are as follows;

1- During my over 4 years employment in his company, I had never seen he is on a single day or half a day holiday. He always works (either working computer or reading) over 15 hours/day, no weekend, no holiday and no any kinds of entertainment. He always said that he could not have any holidays and entertainment before he could achieve his two
important goals. He told us that he never have any single days of holiday since 1984 because of his past three goals that he already achieved. I have never discovered a person in this world who spend his past 23 years without any rest/holidays by
just working, writing and reading.

2- During my 4 years employment in his company, he already donated over 700, 000 RMB (around USD 90,000) to
those of remote and poor schools in Xinjiang, Hubei, Hunan, Liaoning and Jiangsu province through the local provincial educational departments. Therefor he received officials acknowlegement/praise for his donation from those of government department above localities.

3- In 2001, he also donated a sum of 50,000 RMB to an Troupe of blind people in Xinjiang Province

4- Even he is driving in the street, he would stop and always gives some good money to those of people in the street who are either blind, no legs/no arms, or old and poor people. One day in 2003, he discovered an old and disabled man (who was abandoned by his children for many years) in the front of Beijing Municipal Government and took him to one of the empty apartment of our company and looked after this old man for over two weeks before he eventually convinced those of local officials of Beijing Labor and Social Security Department and send this poor man to Beijing Asylum for old people. On the first day, he even ordered to some of the Chinese staff of our company to wash this old man in the bath and also bought some new clothing for him. On those days (while our company looked after this poor man), over 100 people in Wangjing West Garden of Beijing could be a strong witness for what Yakup did for this old man and all the people in the community were very impressed.

5- He never pays the monthly salary of those younger (single) staff of our company in full to their hand. He only pays around 250 RMB for their monthly expenses and pays the rest of the salary to the bank account of their mother. He always trains/educates all the people in our company to be the most dedicated children to their parents. So the parents of all the staff of our company know Yakup and always said "Yakup is one of the best man in the world" He always tells all his friends and associates to remember the following:

"Mother is always most greatest, wonderful, warmest and most beautiful. Even you earn USD 1,000 each month and give USD 999 to your most beloved mother each month (even your most beloved mother is multimillionaires and don't need your any financial support at all) until the end of her life by just leaving one dollar in your pocket for your own monthly expenses, you could not be able to reciprocate what your most beloved mother did for you in a single second in the middle of the night (or a drop of her milk) while you were a baby.

6- He is originally from one of the top and famous family in the Western part of (Xinjiang) China. His father was a vice Chairman of the Government of Xinjiang Province before his death 1988. But Yakup's life in Beijing or any part of the world is always so modest and very simple (just like someone from a poor family) even he is always doing some good business.

7- Because of his religion (he is a Muslim), in his whole life he never goes and eats from any restaurants in the street. Even there are over 2000 Islamic/Halal restaurants in Beijing, he never trust them. He only eats at home. He never drinks any beer and wines. But smokes a lot (a pack each day).

8- He is so faithful to his wife and children, and never look at (with another intention) and shake hands with any women/girl (because of his religion). He is very very pure in his whole life.

9- He is always so honorable (keep promise) and always executes/honors a single word from his mouth to others at any cost.

10- He always forces/motivates all the young people in our company to work/or study hard for over 15 hours/day, without weekend and without holidays. He always tell other people that " If we don't study and read today, we shall become illiterate on tomorrow"

11- He never get angry and get into emotion in the face of any difficulties and unfairness in his life. He always tell other people the followings " The one who fights with tiger is not a real hero at all, but the one who fights with anger, emotion, despondency, anguish, injustice, difficulties and could be able to practice/exercise patience until the end is a real hero".

12- He never allow any person in our company to waste any food and a drop of water. During my 4 years employment in his company, he already fired 3 nice Chinese staff just because of their wastage of some food. He always tell all the people the following: " Our resources in this world are always very limited. We must have to consume less, eat less, drink less and wear less and leave more resources for our future generation. Even we leave in a river bank, we should not waste away a drop of water". In one of his most recent publication, he wrote the following: "Always Remember: 657 grains of rice weigh 100 gram and 6,570,000. grains of rice weigh 1 MT. If each of the people (world population is 6,519,154,587 by 6 th. May 2005) in the world waste away a grain of rice/per day, the total wastage of rice is around 993 MT/day, or 29,790 MT/month or 362,445 MT/year, that is enough to feed the 7 million population of London for a period 104 days (if each of the residents of London consumes 0.5 KG rice per day), or enough to feed 12 million population of Beijing for a period two months. Or each of the people in the world waste away 10 grains of rice per day, then the total wastage per year is 3,624,450 MT rice, that is enough to feed the entire population (32,188,167 by 6 th. May 2005) of Canada for 225 days.

If you have a better understanding of the above statistics, and also if you have a feeling for those who are still in the state of hunger, then never waste away a grain of rice and our other scarce resources. Any wastage of a grain rice, a drop of water, or our other scarce resources is always considered to be result of worst personal quality and worst family education".

13- He always keep writing and publishes his works in major Chinese newspapers. During my employment in his company, he not only sent several major/important proposal (all are regarding the reform and amendment of legal structure in China and other political issues) to the Government of China on various legal issues of China and published over 45 important articles (on insurance law, immigration law, contract law, company law, traffic law, criminal law, etc.) on various major Chinese newspapers. All his publication are always most welcomed and highly praised by all Chinese scholars and as well as Chinese policy makers. So he is always very popular and well known by all Chinese legal departments and and as well as all Chinese lawyers and Chinese Courts.

In conclusion, I must have to say again that Yakup is one of the most wonderful and impressive figure I have ever met in my life. There are no many people like Yakup in our globe. He is really very exceptional and very special person in this world. Therefore I and my whole family love him and respect him so much in the past and forever. All the people both in Beijing and other parts of China who know and understand Yakup always said that Yakup is one of most perfect and great person of rare quality in this world and should deserve much love and respect.

What I can't understand is that such an excellent quality of most wonderful person in this world and his company suddenly become one of the "most horrible and notorious" person and company in today's internet just starting from 2004 or just immediately after dismissal of several deceitful and dishonest foreign staff from Yakup's company.

It is quite certain that those of the deceitful and dishonest people (who were fired from Yakup's company) who plotted so many rumors and lies on the internet against Yakup and his reputable company could be from worst and wicked families background in this world and just representing the most disgusting personal quality. If they had a minor good education in the past either from their school or families, they should understand how terrible it is to lie and spread rumor against other people.

Again I would warn all those of people who are on the internet forum, please never, never believe those of the vicious rumors about Yakup fabricated by those of most disgusting and wicked people.

To all the Disgruntled Liars and Cheats, - ESL school review

To all the disgruntled liars and cheats,

I am appalled at the viciousness at which you have attacked my friend. Your slanderous remarks and comments are what I have come to expect from American and Foreign peons that are a little dissatisfied with what they find in China. What, are you surprised that I called you this? Well don't be, cause I have done this as a fellow American living abroad. I too came here 4 years ago through this man's company and have never been maltreated or cheated and I have dealt exclusively with him in my 4 years in China. Everything that this man, Yakup, has promised was given to me and more. I treasure my friendship and his invaluable help here in China.

Prior to my coming to China, I had this organization investigated by the USA Embassy in Beijing. They wrote back to me and told in an email and on the phone that this company was truly legitimate. They found no problems whatsoever. So I ventured fouth and have enjoyed my stay tremendously.

In my first year I was sent to a remote location. At first I didn't like it. A small city where I was truly the ONLY foreigner there. However, I made the best of it and consequently made some good friendships that I will treasure to the day I die. My salary was higher than that of the school director. I was making almost double his salary for a middle school and had to work a total of 18hrs a week teaching English. I literally was treated like a king. I was received warmly and graciously by the school and staff.

In the year 2003 I was sent to the province of Guangdong to work for an oil company where they completely messed up my visa. I was technically living in China illegally for two months. If you ever had this happen to you then you know that the fine is 500 Yuan a day until you receive a new visa. Well needless to say that I was worried but if it wasn't for Yakup and his help I would have had to pay 40,000 Yuan to fix my problem. Since I came through his company, I contacted him and he fixed my problem in 1 week, paid the government for me a sum of 2,500 Yuan, got a new visa and found a job in a large city where I have been residing ever since. I never had to pay for this service.

How dare you attack and then hide under false names. This is an act of coward ness that only the feeble-minded and outright cheats use. You are in no means a human being but an animal and deserved what you have received. If you had an ounce of courage then challenge me for this man is truly honest and delivers what he has promised. How dare you use this tactic and not reveal who you really are. I have talked with him and he has told me that you all have abused his hospitality and generous nature. But what else can you expect from Americans and foreigners. If it wasn't for this man and his ability to place people in the best possible places where they can receive a high salary and all the benefits that he promised, I wouldn't have stayed in China as long as I have.

I thank Yakup for the opportunity to come to this wonderful company and most importantly I treasure the friendship that has arisen through our dealing.

This Chinese woman is full of something. Good I am not full of the same stuff!
She says Yakup dismissed his EMPLOYERS; that's interesting since I always thought HE WAS THE employer of all those unfortuante FTs. Did they rise in rebellion and oust him?

What amazed me was thatmy guess that Yakup was a Turk has partiallybeen vindicated; he is an Uygur, that is, a Chinese-Turk. This shows that some Uygurs do rise to similar levels as Han-Chiense who are on intimate friends with the powers-that-be.
In Urumqi, it used to be Lady Re.bya Kad.eer; now she has been dispossessed of her properties (she lives in exile in the U.S.A., while her several kids are struggling to pay the government's "tax" that the govwernment slapped on them in retaliation for releasing their mother from prison).

I wouldn't want to work for someone so well-connected as Emir Yakup! The arm of CHina's so-called "justice" is sometimes longer than my shadow is during sundown.
