|
|
Hello - Sorry if this is not the correct forum for this post. I am new to this discussion deal and not sure where to post this question/topic. Anyone here have up-to-date information on any good thai language courses/companies in the bkk area? I will be in bkk for several weeks and would like to study thai while I am there. Any information on courses, costs, quality of intstruction, etc would be most appreciated.
cheers!

It happens that I studied at one of the ones Kent mentioned,
http://www.aaathai.com/ (Advance Alliance Academy Thai Language Center / BTS Chitlom)
15 hours/week, skillful instruction for beginners, cost just 5700 Baht, as I recall, for four weeks.
Your chance to learn some Thai, fast, and to meet some nice people (my classmates were mainly from Japan). |

I've only ever heard good things about this place though:
2) Union Language School
Offers Thai courses on many levels. Classes arsmall and instruction is intensive. Writing instruction begins on thethird level. Protestant missionaries also study at this school.
This school is located in the CCT(Christian Church of Thailand) Building 109 Surawong Rd. BKK.

Thanks! I appreciate the first-hand experience reply. This is helpful. I have looked at their website and sent a request for more details.

Many thanks for the additional resource. I just looked at this link and I see some very good potential resources. This was not in Kent's post - a very good and timely addendum!

Ooooooooooooooops! I just reviewed Kent's post again and this link IS there. I must have skimmed over it in my rush to view websites. I still appreciate your reply and all the helpful information I have received. |
