| Have a job, kind of told them I'd be around until July, surprise, I'd like to leave early. Obviously I'd like to wait out the month and get my last paycheck. How do I avoid working the first week of the next month, getting my check and then not returning? I don't really want to be nasty, but I also don't want to get gipped out of my last paycheck. Advice from those who have done this sort of thing before? (Oh, and I don't have any contract.) |

| Either work the week or call in sick for a few days and then just teach the day or two before you are paid. |

| So in general, do you just stop showing up, or do you inform your school you're leaving, via email or in person? Generally this would not be an issue, work I've had at home has been on the up & up, I can say I have to leave, and know we part in good graces, and they will pay me for my time. Here in BA, well, hence my question. |
