I've read a few of the comments here about contract problems at Bilkent Uni. (and also about the dullness of Ankara) and am wondering about the FAE program in particular. According to the job posting, those accepted for the teaching position will then have the opportunity to obtain an in-house CELTA certificate and/or an MA in Education Management. The perks seem to be decent as well (apartment, meals, baggage allowance, etc).
I am wondering what other people's experiences have been like at the school. What about the location of Bilkent? I am assuming that the school is in the suburbs, and it seems as if the lodging is on-campus. Also, is $1000-$1500 USD/month fair wage?
Thank you, |

Tell us Entrailicus, why do you have choice things to say about Bilkent?
Did you attend an interview and not get the job?
Did you work there briefly?
Did you meet some of the obnoxious trainers from Bilkent? |
