Hello All: Do you guys know where I can find level books published by American publishers? I am looking for some short stories (geared for young learners and young adults) but NOT in British English. I am, of course, familiar with Oxford, Longman, etc., but the school where I work would really like to get some books by American publishers. If you know where I can find any (whether in Turkey or on the internet) I would be most grateful.

You want books by such publishers as Heinle & Heinle (Thomson), Longman (U.S.), Oxford (U.S.), and others. Most of the American publishers have their books listed in the catalog of Alta Books in California, where you can order/purchase online:

You can also search the Web sites of the individual publishers. Here are some examples:

Also Oxford,longman and Cambridge have coursebooks geared for the N. american market(However American Interchange is just as cra.p as the UK version)
