While working in Qatar I knew a teacher who was on a rotation is a urine plant. The waste of half the country was there transformed into agricultural products. The side effect of working there was a complete loss of the sense of smell. He did get a clothes allowance, which helped, and used to go to the sauna regularly to soak the stench out of his skin; he usually went in the early morning so as not to disturb others. The process isn't uncommon. Sewage treatment plants in western Canadian cities to the same thing with the solid waste recovered and treated. Turns into fertilizer for the fields. Enjoy your next helping of veggies. Wink

Never worked out why the fertilzer is called urea? Or did you think organic fertilizer is some kind of sweet smelling lily extract?

Anyway PT if you are a carnivore you get the fecal matter in your hamburger before it is treated. When they slaughter the cow in the slaughterhouse the contents of the intestines fall to the floor and a non-inconsiderable amount gets into the scrapings they chop up for hamburgers.

Read fast-food nation to make you feel real good about being a carnivore.

Incidentally for a really vile smell live next to a leather tanning factory.

When I was in Mexico, I was warned to soak all fruits and vegetables that I bought in disinfectant because Mexican producers water their plants with raw sewage.

I'm sure this helps their plants grow well. But it does mean that care must be taken when eating and preparing food.

I assume you don't mean soaking them in Lysol. Confused
Have you heard about what's in cigarettes?
