|
|
Well, I was going to move to Ankara and teach but my Turkish girlfriend of 2 years broke up with me 2 days ago, so now my plans have changed. Istanbul is my new goal destination, but since I have not researched any possibilities there, some help would be greatly appreciated. I have a B.A. in English and can speak Turkish - not that that is an essential skill. Anyone know of any openings or opportunities? (Or any single Turkish girls that like Americans ?) |

A degree in English will definitely be a benefit. Do you have any Teaching qualifications? January is often a good time to secure a contract. |

A degree in English will definitely be a rarity in TEFL in Turkey. A welcome change from the degreeless and those with social science degrees. |

No, as of yet I do not have any teaching qualifications, but I have been led to believe that is not always a must. |

"Misled" to believe that is a better word choice. |
