I currently do not have a teacher's cert. of any kind, though a B.A. in English will hopefully prove useful in this job market. Are there any certification programs in Turkey at this time, and, if not, are any on-line programs respectable or worth paying for? I know the British Council offers a course in Istanbul twice a year, but I haven't found out much more then that. |

ITI (International Training Institute) offers one, as does Via Lingua. Check them out on the web. It is a good idea to get one, as it gives you some training and makes you more marketable. |

Well I will check out both of those, because I am well aware of how much better my applications would look if I had some sort of qualifications to back up my degree. |
