Hi all-
I've been checking out various TEFL training centers, and was curious if anyone had any experience or information about TEFL International. Their URL is:
http://www.teflintl.com/
Is their certificate accepted generally? Anyone know anything about their job pacement? Just looking for general info.
Thanks in advance!!

In Latin America, any 120+ hour program with supervised teaching practicum is generally equally considered. In many European countries, CELTA and Trinity programs carry more weight. It may be different in different Asian countries as well. For a great discussion on the worth of training programs in general, check out this thread http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/job/viewtopic.php?t=31851&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 |

I did the course with them 4 years ago and have had no problem getting their certificate accepted as an equal to the CELTA - in thailand.
They have a couple of locations in Thailand now, but given the choice I hear that the Ban Phe one ( opposite Ko Samet ) is still the best. The lead trainer there is Dave Hopkins who is really good.
At the end of my course I did get advice on where to go etc and they had a folder with all the latest adverts, they do also have a few contacts through their own sources. |
