I am currently using a programme called 'Task Magic' to generate activities (multiple choice, mix and match, cloze, re-assemble text etc, and it allows you to upload sound files and pictures). It seems particularly suited to languages and efl teaching. A free demo is available from www.mdlsoft.co.uk BTW, I have no links to this company, just want to share the resource. I use an interactive Smartboard a lot with these activities and it definitely gives you a few more interesting shots in your locker as a teacher. |

Another neat product for building online teaching materials is Hot Potatoes: http://hotpot.uvic.ca/
I'm currently experimenting with it, and it seems like it's capable of a lot. |
