I think they like it. Going to the market (or souk) is interesting fo everyone, not only English teachers.

As I said on your other post... did you try a search? Questions that are vague like this invite... is it humor?

Take a bit of time (you could spend days!!) to read what is already here and if you come on and ask more specific questions, there are usually people here that can help you more than the TGIF crowd. Laughing

Speaking from experience, there's nothing like searching for days for some information only to find that much better could have been had with a little luck and outreach earlier in the game...and I certainly don't believe in posting vague questions and then sitting back expecting the answers to be provided for me.

....so the search continues. For the sake of future guests if I find some lebanon-specific information I'll tack it up here. Thanks.

Did you find the past posts? What was put there was pretty much the last info we got here. My friend who was teaching there left this past summer.

They apparently hire few expat teachers in comparison to other countries. Likely because there are so many Lebanese who can do it.
