getting money out is a real pain in the ass. The only post office i know of is next to the Osaka station. Im in Shinsibashi (sp?) and I`d rather find a closer one. any in my area?

There is one at the entrance to the Hankyu department store in Umeda. Dont know any in Shinsaibashi sorry.

Across from the west side of JR Osaka Station (within easy walking distance of the Sakurabashi exit).

Osaka Hankyu Branch Post Office (Umeda Map)

Located near Umeda Station on the Hankyu and Subway Midosuji Lines at a corner outside the Hankyu Department Store.
Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Closed: Saturdays, Sundays, holidays
Shin-Umeda City Branch Post Office (Umeda Map)
B-100, 1-1-90, Oyodonaka, Kita-ku, Osaka City, 531-0076
A 5-minute walk from JR Osaka Station, on the first underground level of the Umeda Sky Building.
Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Closed: Saturdays, Sundays, holidays
Osaka Ekimae Dai-Ni Building Branch Post Office (Umeda Map)
1-2-2, Umeda, Kita-ku, Osaka City, 530-0001
On the second underground level of the Osaka Ekimae Dai-Ni Building located near Kita Shinchi Station on the JR Tozai Line.
Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Closed: Saturdays, Sundays, holidays
Tennoji MiO Branch Post Office (Tennoji Map)
10-39, Hideincho, Tennoji-ku, Osaka City, 543-0055
Located near JR Tennoji Station, inside the �Tennoji MiO� shopping mall.
Hours: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Closed: holidays for the �Tennoji MiO� shopping mall (the third Tuesday of every month) |

| There is a post office in America-mura. Just go to Big Step and head to Triangle Park. But before you get there, turn left down the first street. and the Post Office will be down there on you left. |

| There's a post office in the OCAT building in Namba, which is right next to Shinsaibashi. |

YoungBuck,
If you look at a map of your area, you'll probably see little symbols like 〒. Those are post offices. Lots of them will have Postal Savings ATMs. |
